For what purpose is this information collected?

Your information is collected to better your experience with the EDI site and system, and to provide you with information about promotional and special offers.

Earn Decent Income, or third-party affiliates, collects general information about purchases as they relate to our products or advertisements. This information includes user and demographic information, but never personal information. Information of this nature is used to determine an advertisement's effectiveness.

Information is collected in the following ways:

    * When you create an EDI account, you must provide your name and email address.

 

    * If you're eligible for a rebate, we issue them via PayPal, or by check in the mail. If you request a check, Earn Decent Income requires your mailing address.

    * We will also require your mailing address if you order products or services.

    * When you create an account with EDI, you will be added to our mailing list. As a registered consumer, you may be contacted about customer services issues, changes to our site, account information, new services, and/or special offers.

Will Earn Decent Income protect my information?

Naturally. We have a plethora of security measures in place to uphold our commitment to your personal privacy. Your information is held in secure networks behind firewalls, and cannot be accessed by unauthorized EDI employees.

Financial institutions and credit card information is NOT collected by EDI.

If it is necessary to provide your information to an authorized third party, Earn Decent Income requires of them the same security measures, and commitment to your privacy, as us. These third party affiliates must agree not to disclose your information.

Will my information be disclosed to others?

We do not sell or offer any information collected to other people or companies, except in a manner consistent with the commitment to your privacy, as described above. A few other situations in which your privacy may be disclosed is described below.

    * Under penalty of law, we are required to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes. We will also establish legal rights or defend against legal claims.

    * It is our belief that it's necessary to disclose information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action against any illegal activities, including fraud and situations involving violence against any person.

    * Under penalty of law, we are required to provide the IRS with ID numbers and other personal information about those utilizing our Referral Program, contingent on that individual earning more than $600 in a year.

I've heard a lot about "cookies." Does Earn Decent Income use them?

Cookies are tidbits of information a website can transfer to a hard drive to help the user as he or she visits our site. Cookies allow users to customize site preferences, thereby improving functionality and experience.

Cookies are commonplace around the Internet, and most Web sites use them, including EDI. We do not, however, use them to store personal information.

Can I change the personal information EDI has collected from me?

To view this information, log into your account and click on "Account Info." To change this info, please contact Earn Decent Income.

I'm tired of receiving promotional offers. Can I stop this?

From time to time, Earn Decent Income sends promotional and special offers via email. If you do not wish to receive them any more, please contact us. You may still receive important announcements and information regarding account updates.

Are those under the age of 18 allowed to use Earn Decent Income?

Absolutely not. We do not collect or solicit information from anyone under the legal age of 18. If we discover that we have collected this information unknowingly, this information will be deleted immediately. Any unauthorized accounts by users under the age of 18 will be deleted, and that person will be banned indifferently, and the proper authorities contacted. We do not, and will not, tolerate such activity.

If you believe we have information about anyone under 18, please contact us. If you are under the legal age of 18, please have your parent or guardian contact us if you wish to be involved in the EDI program.
